3-year term

After opting for the 3-year term, if we intend to transfer our domain from GoDaddy to another registrar, the refund for lapsed domain days will be applicable only if we request a refund with GoDaddy's customer service within the refund time frame specified for the relevant product, if available at all.

They do a good of offering this deal as if it's a great deal. Only $0.01 for the first year, but you need to pay for all three years in one shot.

Year-on-Year basis

You'll be charged $11.99 for the first year and $21.99 for every subsequent year, plus an ICANN fee of $0.18 per year for certain TLDs (Top Level Domains).

Both the plans of GoDaddy are significantly more expensive than buying the same from Cloudflare.

Namecheap
